Quem teve a sorte e fortuna de apanhar o M (Ant3, 19-21h) do passado Domingo ficou a saber um pouco mais acerca do Carnaval de Notting Hill em Londres. O evento realiza-se todos os anos naquele bairro londrino e não é mais do que um desfile de milhares de pessoas, adornadas com os mais distintos acessórios, ao som de diferentes estilos de música, da Soul ao Rock e do Samba ao Hip-Hop. Alguns desses sons são posteriormente compilados pelo senhor (vénia) Norman Jay e lançados numa colectânea de nome Good Times. O recente Good Times 5 ainda não conta com as músicas que tocaram o fim-de-semana passado em Londres, estas coisas levam o seu tempo.
Se recuarmos no tempo, Good Times 3 conta com uma música que venceu a herculiana tarefa de me viciar, If I Lost You de Michelle Shaprow (remixada por King Britt) é um manual da música que me preenche.
Também no M de Domingo me deram a conhecer Leela James. Mais uma voz (e que voz!) da neo-soul, influenciada por Aretha Franklin e Chaka Khan, que só agora se dedicou ao mercado. Em Junho deste mesmo ano caiu nas lojas A Change Is Gonna Come que conta com a colaboração de Kanye West, Wyclef Jean, entre outros. Ficam as sugestões.

This is a great blog with much good info.
My main interest is genealogy, and I have written a genealogy book which you can find along with many articles at my site. I believe it's the only genealogy book of its kind, dealing specifically with search for noble ancestors.

Big Brother 6: Nomination and Veto #9
I groaned as today's episode started. With the lack of an episode on Saturday, I had managed to block from my mind the tragedy that had occurred in the last HoH competition: April is Head of Household.
